Dear Snowfall
How lovely you are! You bring the silence into the city, except for the few shovelers as you end. You cover the streets and the garden and the trees with a white blanket. I’m sure there are actually physiological reason why you feel so good (like the rain), for now it is a joy to have just enough. This year, I shoveled at just the right time as well. If I wait too long you are packed down by all the footsteps and it’s almost impossible to have a satisfying shovel. Today, I went out early, 6:30am which was the perfect timing. Easy and satisfying shovel, with a salt follow up for when it gets super cold. I even took a nice walk through the neighborhood.
