Dear Rotay Family

For 50+ years, I have been invited to your home(s) —different places over all these years, for Christmas Eve dinner. It is festive and the food is fabulous. Even when our parents have passed, you continue to welcome me and my family (your step family) to join in celebrations that I didn’t have growing up. New this year I got to cook (contribute) and was even given the job of frying the fruit and shrimp for years to come! I am so happy to have a job in the kitchen that suits me so well.
