Dear Joseph

We have literally never met, although I believe we have emailed —unsure if we ever talked on the phone. Yet we shared a deep love for Steve. I have come to appreciate the friendship that I witnessed. I am grateful for all the ways you have contributed to our dear friend. He has explained to me in a wide variety of ways how much you mean to him and I am grateful to hear those stories. I might have enjoyed meeting you, and I trust that the universe had our story in mind so I accept it as wonderful. I am wishing you well.
