Circle of Women Elders — Come As You Are
Please join us in creating a circle of women who are navigating life and moving into our elderhood. We will gather and discuss and support, while learning with and from each other, what it means to age well in our lives.
In this circle, we honor all of you. Bring with you your questions, your history —resolved and otherwise. Bring the celebrations and concerns of your life. We will talk and listen, laugh and cry, and bring new meaning to the chapter of life where we are now. We invite you to celebrate your wisdom and share freely with us as we gain awareness of the conscious-eldering we will experience.

About Circle of Women Elders
We will explore together, while we navigate life in a new way. In a container of respect and care, we will join each other, becoming pioneers in our own lives. We embrace our new role moving forward, both in the world and in our families. We will talk freely, finding deep connection and understanding of each other as we identify our power, yet fragility, in this phase of our lives. Our container remains secure as we take a look back through our lives, celebrating, savoring and mourning our remembered contributions and regrets.
Together we will take ownership of the wisdom, as well as the challenges, of life. While we grow inner confidence in order to contribute to each other, our families and the communities that are important to us will also benefit.
As we meet for this bi-monthly circle, the use of many archetypes and stories will guide our conversations.
Who are we inviting to our circle?
If you are called to join the circle, you are invited. We are hoping to create a wide variety of those who see themselves as elders, and/or they are preparing to elder consciously. Physically, you might be past your child-baring years, yet maybe not quite? We invite those women who seek wisdom and can offer wisdom as we broaden our definition to include women who are curious about this. You do not need to have had your own children to gather with us. You only need to want to.
THE CRONE
As the Moon wanes and the darkness of the night sky grows, the Crone steps into her power. The Crone represents the post-childbearing years of life, and is associated with Autumn and Winter, sunset and night, and the winding down and ending of the growing season. The Crone is the wise elder aspect of the Goddess, and governs aging and endings, death and rebirth, and past lives, as well as transformations, visions, prophecy, and guidance.
