Help Me With My Kids

Your kids are great. You love them dearly. Yet, navigating life at home gets challenging at times. You find it hard to discipline them in a way that feels good to you. You find yourself losing your temper more often than you would like and, even then, they don’t cooperate. You are losing hope that this will ever change.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Find the connection you always imagined with your children.

This Relationship Repair program is designed to help you uncover where the communication breakdown may have occurred — and likely continues — between you and your kids. It begins by guiding you to where your power resides in order to make the changes you desire. You’ll also learn how to stay present and focused when interacting with your children. And it will offer you specific skills to begin to open up the conversation again.

Here are some of the highlights that we cover in this program:

  • Defining your role as a parent.

  • Understanding more clearly why you are upset with your children by uncovering your unmet needs.

  • Developing the skills to identify what needs your children are trying to get met.

  • Understanding more clearly who your children are and what’s important to them in order to reach them with your communication.

  • Finding creative ways to “discipline” your children within a container of compassion.

  • Creating systems and household practices that generate more cooperation and care.

  • Utilizing a simple guide for what to say to your kids when you are upset in order to invite the shifts you are looking to create.

Because the label “kids” or “children” can apply to a wide variety of ages (from 3 to 17 years old), the specific things you will do with or say to your children will be different depending on their age group. However, there are many aspects that are consistent with relating to any child, regardless of their age, and we are going to use those as our starting point for this program as likely those are the things you struggle with the most.

In this self-guided, 4-week program, you receive all of the following:

  • Four actionable lessons, with worksheets, emailed straight to your inbox.

  • Direct access to me in a private Facebook community, where you also receive the support and understanding of a small group of women wanting the same things. I check in regularly to answer your questions and ask a few of my own. Plus you will be able to hear the perspective of others, if you find that helpful.

  • The guidance you need to make the changes you desire.

  • The chance to go at your own pace. A new lesson is emailed to you once a week for 4 weeks, but feel free to download the materials and do the work whenever you have time, in the privacy of your own home or even in your favorite coffee shop.

Taking this first step can help you take charge of the relationship with your kids, find new ways to communicate and relate, and, finally, create the relationship with your kids that you’ve been hoping for.
